Teesside Crematorium

Teesside Crematorium is located on Acklam Road in Middlesbrough and has been providing cremation services to the residents of Teesside for a number of years. Currently owned by Middlesbrough council, the crematorium is set in extensive grounds featuring peaceful gardens of remembrance and wooded areas, the site provides a quiet and peaceful place to remember loved ones. There are currently two chapels at the crematorium, St Hilda’s and St Bedes. St Bedes is the larger of the two chapels. Services last approximately 40 minutes and the crematorium is open to all faiths and beliefs. Families are actively encouraged to participate in planning the service to ensure that it is both meaningful and personal, commemorating the life of loved ones. The crematorium has facilities to play music to accompany the service and this can be provided on CD or MP3 by the family prior to the service.
