Saltwell Crematorium

Saltwell Crematorium has been providing cremation services since it opened in 1966. The crematorium is located in extensive grounds which are within Saltwell conservation area. The chapel is elegant and dignified and has seating for 78 mourners with additional room for standing. The Chapel is available for funeral services from all faiths and beliefs. The Book of Remembrance within the chapel provides a permanent record and memorial for those who have passed away. A digital version of the book is available to view online at any time. A garden of remembrance exists within the grounds and this is a well maintained, tranquil area where you can reflect and remember your loved one. Many of the walks and borders around the grounds are edged with kerbstones where you can attach commemorative plaques as a lasting memorial. Car parking is available on site and there is an overflow car park to the rear of the crematorium.
