Reading Crematorium

Reading Crematorium currently owned by the Council has been serving the local borough for many years. The chapel at the crematorium is a light, bright space painted in neutral colours providing a welcoming environment for the bereaved. There is more than adequate seating to accommodate the congregation and as a non-denominational chapel, services can be held for all faiths, beliefs and religions. Planning a funeral can be a difficult time but with the right support, every detail can be expertly planned from music through to the order of service. Where you require additional time for the service, this can be purchased for an additional fee in blocks of 30 minutes. Following on from the cremation service, there are a range of memorial options available in the grounds where you can create a lasting tribute for a loved one.
