Preston Crematorium

Preston Crematorium has been providing cremation services since February 1962. Currently the crematorium which is owned and managed by Preston City Council serves Preston and the surrounding areas and oversees more than 1600 cremations each year. The crematorium is non-denominational and aims to provide an element of comfort and peace at what is often a distressing time for the family of the bereaved. Services are carefully planned, ensuring that they reflect the wishes of the deceased and their family including music, religious traditions or non-religious customs, all of which can be incorporated into the service. Services held at the crematorium should be created to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one and the staff at Preston crematorium will work extremely hard to ensure that any special requests are suitably accommodated during the service.
