Hendon Crematorium

At Hendon Crematorium there are two non-conformist chapels which can be used for any type of cremation service. They are also available for a pre-funeral ceremony or ritual where this is required. Cremation services take place Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm.The standard time of service in the Chapels is 45 minutes but the services are scheduled in to run every 60 minutes, allowing time to enter and leave the chapel at the beginning and end of the service. Music can play a key role in a cremation service. The Chapel has a modern music system that can play CDs, digital downloads or MP3 music. A traditional organist is also available to play live music if this is preferred. For those who are unable to travel to the crematorium on the day, the funeral service can be broadcast live and securely over the internet.
