Carmountside Crematorium

Based in Stoke-on-Trent Carmountside Crematorium is found within the grounds of the Carmountside cemetery. The crematorium provides a number of facilities for those looking to plan a cremation service and there is a large chapel to accommodate a large number of people. Currently the chapel can seat 150 mourners with additional standing room available if required. Outside of the chapel, there is not only a woodland park but some beautiful gardens of remembrance and butterfly remembrance garden for children’s ashes. The outdoor area can offer the bereaved a certain element of comfort at an upsetting time and the grounds are a place for reflection and quiet contemplation. As a modern crematorium, you will find everything that you would expect including the ability to organise a live organist or music throughout the service. This can be played through the music system and you choose from CDs or from the online database of songs.
