Richard Ward Funeral Services of Leicester is an independent funeral directors and monumental masons based in Enderby. We were set up by Richard Ward himself, who is assisted by his brother, Peter Ward and his daughter Kelsey, his mother, Diane Ward and Helen Bozon, who has worked with Richard since 1991, when she was his apprentice. His career began back in 1982 as a 17 year old. He worked at a prestigious funeral directors in the city centre, where he became a fully qualified and certified funeral director and embalmer. Richard then went on to hold several senior management positions at large corporate funeral directors, which gave him the belief that funeral directing is best managed by independent companies, who are not answering to shareholder concerns.
