N. E. Downing Ltd is an independent, family run funeral director operating from the corner of Long Lane and Feldon Lane just outside Blackheath. We were originally known as Charles Taylor Funeral Directors and based on Vicarage Road but moved to our current location in 1986 to better serve the local communities of Romsley, Halesown, Quinton and Blackheath. We are still operated and overseen today by the Downing generation with William Downing taking the reins assisted by other family members such as Stephen, Sue and Lucy Downing.
