Melton and the Vale Independent Funeral Directors are a small family owned funeral business, operating in the town of Melton Mowbray and covering all the surrounding villages and area. We work tirelessly to provide our families with the best possible service. We understand that organising a loved one's funeral is one of the hardest things most people will ever have to do and we promise to be here for you throughout. We are compassionate and friendly in our approach to customer service. We pledge to care for your loved one with the utmost care, respect and dignity. If you wish to view your loved one, we have two private viewing chapels that can be used. In addition, we also have a larger chapel that can be used to hold the funeral service itself and is a cosy local place to say final goodbyes. Here at Melton and the Vale Independent Funeral Directors, we have a modern fleet of vehicles that we use to transport yourselves and your loved one to the church or crematorium. We also have a comfortable and relaxed arranging room to make the funeral arrangements in. However, if you feel more comfortable we can come and visit you in your own home to make the arrangements. We are committed to making you feel as comfortable as possible during your time of bereavement. As well as traditional Christian funeral services we are able to arrange funerals for a variety of religious and beliefs. These include, but are not limited to: Hindus Sikhs Tamilians Jain Buddhists Humanist Druid Pagan Green Eco Friendly We can also do the arrangements in a variety of languages (by prior arrangement) including: Gujarati Punjabi Hindi Urdu Swahili Our premises can be found on Mill Street in Melton Mowbray, and we have a large private on site car park that is easily accessible for you to use while you visit us.
