John Davies and Sons Funeral Directors was established in the early 1900’s and it is now owned and operated by Mr John Davies, the grandson of the founder. Over the years, the business has evolved from being undertakers, coach builders, and carrying out building repairs, to a focus on Funeral Directing and Memorial Masonry. Over the years we have provided a thoughtful, high quality and reasonably priced service to the local community. Our Nelson office is located in the centre of the village and is open from Monday to Friday. We have a meeting room where families are able to discuss funeral arrangements in a private setting. Today we serve Treharris, Nelson, Bedlinog, Gelligaer, Hengoed, Abercynon, Merthyr Vale and all surrounding areas.
