David Butterfield, a former manager at Heckmondwike and District Co-operative Funeral Services, established his current funeral business in 1987 with his son, Richard, and son-in-law, Shawn, who joined shortly after following a career in the Royal Air force. Since 2008, the business has been primarily managed by David’s daughter, Claire, who continues to offer the highest level of service alongside her partner, Shawn.
