We take the time to look after your loved ones as if they were our own; “Agápe” translates as “unconditional love” and we have made that our ethos throughout everything we do. We offer a fully professional and personal service and ensure that all of our funeral arrangements are bespoke and specific to the deceased individual and the needs of their family and loved ones, rather than being based on a particular funeral package. With over 22 years of service in care and funeral services between us, husband and wife team Sharon and Darren run Agápe Funeral Service with our son Nathaniel and we’re each passionate about looking after families while striving to make the worst of days a better day, enabling families to come away with a smile while focussing on the positives of their loved ones. Agápe Funeral Service offer bespoke funeral services that are approximately 20-30% more cost effective to our customers, as we firmly believe in putting people before profit. We can happily visit you to make the arrangements in the comfort of your own home at no extra cost or you are welcome to visit us at our intimate Forget Me Not chapel of rest and discuss your requirements there. We can also handle all of the legal paperwork on your behalf as we know that this can be an added stress when you’re dealing with the emotional difficulties of bereavement and consoling fellow family members and loved ones. As the funeral industry changes and evolves, we strive to continually improve and develop our funeral service to ensure that it is consistently of the very highest standard.
