Yeovil Crematorium

Yeovil Crematorium is managed by several people as a joint committee combining South Somerset District Council, Yeovil Town Council, Yeovil Without Parish Council and Brympton Parish Council. The crematorium has been serving the local area since 1971 and is situated within a 10 acre site. There is a dedicated cremation chapel which can seat 94 mourners. Services are scheduled throughout the day at 40 minute intervals, allowing 25 minutes for the service. If you require additional time for a cremation service, an extension can be arranged but this will cost slightly more. The site is fully accessible by disabled users and the seating in the chapel can be rearranged to accommodate wheelchair users. In addition there is an induction loop system installed within the chapel to help those with hearing impairments. At the entrance to the crematorium there is a large waiting room which includes cloakroom and disabled facilities.
