Wilford Hill Crematorium

Currently owned and managed by Nottingham City Council, Wilford Hill Crematorium also known as the Southern Crematorium is located on Loughborough Road in Nottingham. There are two chapels at the crematorium; the main chapel which is the largest of the two. There are 80 seats available for mourners in this chapel. The second chapel is known as the West Chapel and this has seating for 60 so is slightly smaller. In both of the chapels there is additional standing room if this is required. The council aim to deliver respectful and dignified cremation services for bereaved families, allowing them to plan a personalised service. The standard time slot for cremation services is 40 minutes but this does include time taken to enter and leave the chapel at the start and end of the service. Music can be played during the ceremony but arrangements will be made for this before the service.
