Constructed for the Borough of Loughborough in 1960, Loughborough Crematorium has expertly managed thousands of cremations. In 1993 the crematorium underwent a period of considerable refurbishment and the building entrance was redesigned offering shelter for families during adverse weather. The All Souls chapel was rededicated in 1995 and this chapel has more than enough room for funerals with large numbers of attendees. Disabled access is available so too is Braille and hearing loop systems. Service times at Loughborough crematorium run for approximately 45 minutes providing you with sufficient time for the service to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one. Outside of the crematorium the gardens of remembrance are open throughout the year and after the cremation service, you can choose from a number of memorials. The gardens of remembrance are open 24 hours a day and there is more than enough parking on site, with a total of 55 parking spaces.
