Swansea Crematorium

The crematorium in Swansea is located in the grounds of the Morriston cemetery. The crematorium is a peaceful place, where visitors can remember loved ones and take some time for quiet contemplation in the gardens. The grounds feature a range of well maintained gardens and trees and there is a hall of remembrance. Public rights of way exist at various points in the cemetery so it remains open all the time. For vehicular access, opening times are 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm on Fridays and 10am to 4pm on bank holidays and weekends. Morriston Crematorium provides a number of different memorial options following the cremation service including a book of remembrance, memorial card, kerbstones and plaques. The actual cremation service can be tailored to suit your requirements and music is also available for each service. Hymns can also be played by the resident chapel organist or CDs/MP3s can be provided for the service.
