Mintlyn Crematorium

Mintlyn Crematorium is located within beautiful surroundings featuring lawns, glades and woodland. There are formal and informal walkways throughout the grounds allowing mourners to create memorials including shrubs, conifers and kerbs as well as memorial plaques. A Book of Remembrance is accessible in the crematorium and is an everlasting memorial providing personalised messages. Entry into the Book of Remembrance is available upon request. Away from the other memorials is the Columbarium which is a series of vaults where you can place cremated remains in an urn or casket. Unique memorials can also be created with sculpted or blown glass. The chapel, book of remembrance and gardens are open each day but they do change depending on the season. Between 01 October and 31 March they are open between 08:30 and 4:45pm. Opening times on evenings and weekends is 10am to 4:30pm. During the summer months, April and September, opening times are 08:30am until 6:30pm Monday to Friday and then 10am to 6pm on weekends and bank holidays.
