Anfield Crematorium is currently managed by Liverpool City Council Cemeteries and Crematoria Services. The staff at the council are mindful of each individual family after a bereavement and aim to deliver a unique and meaningful service. Opened in 1896, the crematorium is the oldest one of its kind in the country and is currently a Grade 2 Listed Building. A Cremation service is the opportunity to say a final goodbye and commemorate the life of a loved one. Each service can be carefully planned to suit your requirements making use of facilities available in the chapel such as music which can be used to accompany the service. Cremation times run every 30 minutes throughout the day. The crematorium is located in peaceful surroundings within the centre of a beautiful rose garden that is carefully maintained by the grounds team year round.
