Honor Oak Crematorium

Situated on Brockley Way within the grounds of Camberwell New Cemetery, Honor Oak Crematorium provides a tranquil and calming environment in which to say goodbye to a loved one. Honor Oak Crematorium is renowned for its beautiful stained glass window. The Chapel at the crematorium can accommodate a congregation of 70 people. Constructed in 1939, the crematorium is surrounded by beautiful memorial gardens which offer a certain degree of comfort to the bereaved during what is often a very upsetting time. Cremation times take place at specific times throughout the day, currently held at 10:30am, 11:15am, 12noon, 12:45pm, 1:30pm, 3pm and 3:45pm Monday to Friday weekdays. Families are actively encouraged to participate in planning the cremation service, making it personalised and unique to commemorate the life of a loved one. Parking is limited in the grounds so it may be best to park outside of the grounds and walk in.
