Gornal Wood Crematorium

Opened in 1960, Gornal Wood Crematorium is managed by Dudley Council. It is situated within beautiful surroundings and although the crematorium building is a contemporary design, the staff still retain their traditional values of care, dignity and respect. Planning a funeral can be a difficult experience and where possible the staff will help you plan a personal service for loved ones. Following on from the cremation service, there are a range of memorials available to create a lasting memory. These include memorial trees, wall plaques and the Book of Remembrance. The book of remembrance is a permanent record and is carefully inscribed by skilled craftsmen. The Book of Remembrance is displayed in the Remembrance Hall located to the rear of the Chapel.
