Bentley Crematorium

Recently opened in 2012, Bentley Crematorium is located on Ongar Road, Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood. The owners of the crematorium, Dignity Plc are dedicated to providing bereaved families not only a personalised cremation service, but also a beautiful place where loved ones can be remembered for many years to come. The Chapel at the crematorium is multi-faith, accustomed to delivering all kinds of cremation services to reflect cultural, religious or non-religious beliefs and customs. The chapel can accommodate 100 mourners with heating for the winter months and air conditioning during the summer. For larger congregations, the waiting area can cater for a further 100 people. Mourners can view the funeral service taking place on a plasma screen and through the sound system. Once the cremation service has concluded, families often look for a peaceful place where they can either scatter the ashes or create a lasting memorial and the gardens of remembrance in the grounds are the perfect place.
