Wood & Hay Funeral Directors are a family owned funeral directors and has been a proud part of the William Purves family, based in Edinburgh, since 2000 when George Wood passed away.. Based in Edinburgh with offices in Midlothian and East Lothian, we regularly are entrusted to carry out funerals of people within our local area and further afield. William Purves was started in 1888 and is now owned by the fifth generation of the Purves Family. We remain privately owned and are one of the few family-owned funeral directors in the Edinburgh area. At William Purves, we are committed to bringing our core values of Compassion.
