Sean Hassan Funeral Directors of Ballymena (run by husband and wife Sean and Caroline) have, since 1975, provided families and their loved ones in the local community with the highest standard of personal and attentive funeral care at prices you can afford. In 2013, the business grew as Sean’s son Declan joined his mother and father to become the second generation to run the firm. We endeavour to serve you and your recently deceased loved one with the professional, courteous and dignified service that you would expect. At Sean Hassan Funeral Directors we work hard to deliver the highest quality of service at the most affordable prices. It’s an honour for us to assist families at this difficult time and help them with the funeral arrangements for someone so close to them. Our services to you begin the moment you get in touch and often continue beyond the day of the funeral. All of our funeral services are personally supervised by Sean Hassan Dip F.D, down to the smallest details. We’re available 24 hours daily for you to contact us. We offer a wide range of funeral products, including a selection of coffins and floral tributes, funeral booklets, bereavement pins and memorial stationery. Our hearses and limousines are each chauffeur driven and can carry up to six mourners. Our bearers carry the coffin on their shoulders both in and out of the church (unless you request otherwise) which we believe is the ultimate in traditional respect and reverence. Recently, we were entrusted by the Environmental Health Department of Ballymena Borough Council and the Order of St. Louis to exhume fourteen of deceased sisters from the Order’s convent cemetery and re-inter them in St. Patrick’s Church cemetery, Crebilly. We were extremely privileged to have been asked to deliver this service, and are very proud to do so.
