Saint and Forster is a funeral director based in Darlington. When Keith and Jenny set out as sole owners of Saint and Forster, they wanted to create something ethical, affordable and unique. Keith has over 20 years' experience in the funeral service in Darlington and has been awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts in recognition of an innovative and ethical approach to business. Jenny has been working alongside Keith since Saint and Forster was established and is studying for a PhD at Durham University looking at innovations in funeral ritual. We believe that the true value of a funeral lies in the ceremony; the people that are there and the things that are said and done. We will work alongside you to create a funeral ceremony that is exactly right for you and your family. We believe it should be a basic right to be able to spend time with your loved ones who have passed away if you wish to, so whichever service you choose, even Direct Cremation, you will have full access to our Chapel of Rest at no charge. We are proud to be recommended by the Good Funeral Guide and the Natural Death Centre and to have received the President's Award for Excellence in Bereavement Care from the Society of Bereavement Practitioners. We are also affiliated with the Good Funeral Guild, the Natural Death Society and the Association of Green Funeral Directors.
