Poppy’s is based in Tooting, South London. We are funeral directors in London on a mission to give people the funeral they want, need and can feel proud of. We prioritise choice, flexibility and access to information, ensuring you make the decisions that are right for you. We believe a meaningful funeral can be immensely powerful and we’ll do everything we can to make this happen. We take pride in providing access to transparent, honest information and freedom of choice. Our team will guide you through the entire process with kindness and practicality. We are here to listen, explore different options and put your needs at the centre of everything we do. We provide only what you want and need and we do not sell unnecessary packages. Above all else, we’ll give you honest, straightforward advice and support you every step of the way. We take pride in our work, because we know how much it matters. Here are the values we think are important: A personal, sympathetic approach We listen very carefully to the families who come to us, so that we can go the extra mile to give you the exact funeral you have in mind. We believe that every funeral should be unique, and it’s vitally important to us that you get the personal, authentic service you deserve. We also know that continuity of care makes all the difference – so the person you first meet with to arrange the funeral will be the one to support you at every stage, from start to finish. Respectful care At Poppy’s Funerals, we believe that the people in our care have the right to respectful treatment after their death. They are never anonymous to us: we call them by their names, just as we would have when they were alive. We always look after those who have died gently, always taking the same care as we would if their friends and family were present. We do not embalm - we choose to leave them in their natural state, free from invasive procedures. This respectful approach is one of the reasons we’re proudly recommended by the Natural Death Centre. Value and transparency We believe that anyone should be able arrange a funeral they can afford. That’s why we’re only ever going to provide the services you actually need - and want – at Poppy’s Funerals. We're very transparent about what things cost, and can work to any budget.
