Based in Barnstaple, we have in excess of 80 years' experience in helping the people of North Devon with funeral arrangements. We understand that the loss of a relative can be one of the most difficult times in your life. We are here to help guide and support you through this challenging time, and to create a funeral that is fitting for the life they lived. As independent funeral directors, we are able to offer a truly personalised service that is as unique as the departed. Whether you would like a non-religious ceremony, a traditional ceremony, an extravagant celebration of life, or a multi-faith ceremony, our compassionate staff are here to guide you through your choices. We offer a private chapel of rest, allowing you to visit the deceased as many times as you need to before the funeral. However, some people find the thought of visiting their loved one too distressing. As soon as your relative or friend enters our care, we will treat them with the dignity, respect and compassion you would expect. As members of the National Association of Funeral Directors and the Funeral Arbitration Scheme, you can rest assured our service is of the highest standard. We can make arrangements at our Barnstaple office, or we can come to your home. Our support line and ongoing bereavement service are designed to help you during this difficult time. We can be contacted 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. We also offer out of hours collection if necessary, and nationwide repatriation should it be required. We are able to provide order of service sheets, newspaper notices, and even a video cast funeral should family or friends not be able to attend the ceremony in person.
