Let me take this opportunity to introduce my business to you. I am Michael George Maddison and I have recently opened Michael G. Maddison Independent Funeral Directors in Carlisle. After a year-long search to find “The Right Property” which was appropriate for my business. I have overseen a two-month refurbishment of the building, and I am now able to support clients and their families in a dignified, relaxed and homely environment, and where I can offer them the respect, care and guidance they require Alternatively, funeral arrangements, prepayment plans, memorials and enquiries can be discussed in the comfort of the person’s own home if they desire. I am a competent, well known and respected Funeral Director, holding The Advanced Diploma in Funeral Directing. I have 17 years experience gained working for The Co-operative Funeralcare, a number of them as Principal Funeral Director covering North and West Cumbria, leaving following redundancy in August 2017. And having supported clients and their families since December 2017 in conjunction with an independent funeral director Stefan Nicholson based in Longtown whilst my search for property continued.
