We understand that planning a funeral can be one of the most distressing things someone has to do. The loss of a loved one can leave you feeling confused and uncertain. At Martin Grinnell, we are not part of a large chain of funeral directors. Being an independent provider gives us the ability to tailor funerals unique to each family and their late friend or relative. We are able to offer a range of funerals and can talk you through all of your choices and support you with your decisions. Whether you are looking for a traditional funeral, a non-religious ceremony, natural woodland burials, a celebration of life, or a multi-faith ceremony, we dedicate time to you to allow you to choose something that gives your loved one the send-off they deserve. We offer a support line and ongoing bereavement services and can be contacted 24/7. If you are unable to come to us for whatever reason, we are able to visit you at home to discuss your wishes. If you wish to visit the deceased, we can help facilitate as many visits as you want before the funeral. Some people find this too distressing and choose not to visit. Either option is fine, and we will support you with your choices. We are able to arrange out of hours collection if needed and can assist with national or international repatriation.
