J.T. Brookes & Co, Kingswinford (Part of N. E. Downing Ltd) is an independent, family run funeral director operating from Market Street. Our office in Kingswinford opened in 2001 is intended to serve as a satellite office to our office in Quarry Bank. The intention is to make it easier for families and residents in Kingswinford to meet with us and start the arrangement of the funeral. From the moment you contact us here at J.T. The company originated from Vicarage Road in Blackheath but has grown to encompass 7 locations based around the West Midlands. As well as J. T. Brookes & Co, Kingswinford, we have also welcomed J.T. Brookes & Co, Hagley; J.T. Brookes & Co, Brierley Hill; J. R. Jones & Co, Gornal; Dainty & Downing, Dudley and T Hadley, Blackheath into the N. E. Downing family. We are still operated and overseen today by the Downing generation with William Downing taking the reins assisted by other family members such as Stephen, Sue and Lucy Downing.
