F Irving and Sons have served, and have cared for, families in and around the Frizington area for nearly 60 years. They are very proud of their history, as they are incredibly proud to serve the people of Frizington and surrounding areas, as it is a place that they feel extremely connected to. This is a truly family run funeral director, one that has been passed down through the generations. Their story started in the early 1960s, when Fred Irving acquired the company. Fred and his wife, Connie, were joined by their son, Keith. Keith took over the reigns in 1976 and expanded the business, proudly serving local family up until 1995, when he sadly passed away. Following this, Keith’s sons took the helm. Malcolm and Steven were fresh out of school when they begun running the business and they have strived to maintain and develop the high standards that their father had set. Malcolm and Steven have an exceedingly caring and empathetic team, who are all fully trained. The team have an abundance of experience and will always be on hand to offer sound advice and to support you during your time of need. The team at F Irving and Sons truly understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one and they will strive to deliver a service that is dignified, respectful and personal to the family. They will guide you through the whole process and be at your side throughout. F Irving and Sons are flexible with arrangements and are able to adapt to all requirements. The team are on hand throughout the year, having 24 hour service, 365 days a year. If one should wish to visit the branch, it is located in the centre of Frizington on Main Street, just a minute or two from the Post Office. However, they would be more than happy to visit you in the comfort of your own home.
