An independent family firm of funeral directors serving the local community, Sendell’s Funeral Services have operated in the counties of Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taf and the Vale of Glamorgan for over the last 40 years. Providing a professional bespoke dignified service which is tailored to the needs of the bereaved and their families is our aim. Established in Bridgend County by Cliff & Val Sendell in 1973 and helped along by their son Owen. For over 35 years, Val has been working as a female funeral director in the County Borough . Cliff was the main founder of the business after leaving his post as the area manager of the CIS funeral services, where he served for over 20 years. As of now Owen who is a Honourable Freemen of the City of London is running the business alongside his Dad. Our funeral home is called "Heddfan Funeral Home" which is the only Consecrated Private Chapel of Rest located in the area. Being available 24 hours a day 365 days a year, we are committed to providing a caring, compassionate individual service to every family we serve.
