Benedict Funeral Directors are are a genuine family-run business with 3 generations working together to make Benedicts a truly traditional small funeral business. We have two branches, one in Arlesey and the other in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, from which we serve North Hertfordshire, South Bedfordshire, Central Bedfordshire and North Bedfordshire. We are members of SAIF, which is the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors. As an independently owned run funeral director we are proud to be part of your community. Both of our premises have mortuary rooms and Chapel of Rest facilities from where we can care for your loved one in a dignified manner. We pride ourselves on offering a first-class service at a highly competitive price. We offer a 24-hour service 7 days a week to ensure you are cared for no matter what time of day or night it is. At Benedict Funeral Directors, we can help you arrange religious and non-religious funerals. For non-religious funerals, we have our own Civil Celebrant who will work with you to make the service meet your requirements and provide you a treasured memory of the day. We also have our own in-house florist who can make flower arrangements to your request that will be perfect for the day. At Benedicts, we are well equipped to provide a traditional or more contemporary funeral to your tastes. We have traditional hearses but also something a little more unusual such as a motorcycle hearse or horse drawn hearse which we can provide for you. Our Arlesey funeral home is our head office and can be found on Hitchin Road on the way out of Arlesey towards Hitchin.
