Bernard V Cooke & Son Funeral Directors has been running since 1930 and, throughout the succeeding years, has grown into a well-reputed family business with many strong bonds with the families that we've served in and around the local community. In the early days - when Bernard Cooke first started offering his services to local families - he could scarcely have envisioned the level of success and trust with which his business is today regarded. As a consequence of Bernard’s retirement, his son Trevor took over the business, further developing its reputation alongside many committed staff members. Unfortunately, Trevor has now had to take a step back and allow his colleagues to take the lead in the everyday running of the funeral home, though he is always keeping a watchful eye on proceedings. In the present day, B V Cooke & Son continues to provide the same local, trusted and professional service that has helped so many families through their most difficult time. Much of our reputation is founded on our ability to provide families with a high standard of care and attention without compromising on the quality of service given.
