South Bristol Crematorium

South Bristol Crematorium is on Bridgwater Road, Bedminster Down in Bristol and it provides a number of facilities for mourners attending a cremation service. The crematorium grounds are quiet and designed to offer comfort to the bereaved. Inside the crematoriums there is a speaker system which is located both inside and outside of the chapel, an induction loop and disabled access if required, large print hymn books for religious services and availability to play CDs and tapes. South Bristol crematorium currently has capacity for 84 mourners. Following on from the cremation, you may wish to have your loved one entered into the Book of Remembrance. Opening times depend on the time of year. The summer season runs from April to October and opening times are as follows: Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm, Weekends and Bank Holidays 11am to 4:30pm. Opening times during the winter, from November to March are: Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm and Weekends and Bank Holidays 11am to 4:30pm. On special occasions such as Christmas Day and Mothers Day the cemetery is open between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm.
