Penmount Crematorium

Penmount Crematorium is on the A39 Truro to Newquay Road. It is located approximately 2 miles from the city of Truro, within a secluded 28 acre country estate. 11 acres of the crematorium grounds have been dedicated to gardens of remembrance. The crematorium gardens, book of remembrance and Columbarium are open daily but the times to alter slightly depending on the time of the year. During the summer opening times are 8:30am to 6pm on a weekdays, bank holidays and weekends. In the winter months the grounds are open between the hours of 8:30am and dusk. The crematorium has two chapels; Trelawny and Kernow which have capacity for 112 people and 55 people. Both of the chapels have an electronic organ or there is an online music system which offers an extensive library of recorded music. Induction loop systems are fitted to the crematorium for the hearing impaired. Before the service arrangements can be made to record the service and web casting is also available for those who are unable to attend the crematorium on the day.
