Parndon Wood Crematorium

The Westerleigh Group privately own Parndon Wood Crematorium but they work very closely with the local council, Harlow. In recent years, a number of improvements have been made to the grounds to enhance the facilities and refurbish existing buildings. There is a dedicated chapel at the crematorium where funeral services are held and they are currently booked in 45 minute slots throughout the day. Actual service times are 25 minutes, but if you think that you may need more time you can arrange an extension for a small additional fee. Funeral services can be tailored to meet the requirements of the deceased and their family, whether this is religious or non-religious. The staff are very accommodating and will help you plan a truly personal service. During the cremation service music can be played using the modern music system and web casting facilities are also available for those who are unable to attend the funeral in person on the day.
