Lodge Hill Crematorium

Part of a 61 acre site, Lodge Hill crematorium is located in the Selly Oak area of Birmingham. The grounds are well maintained and include well-tended gardens of remembrance. Acorn Hollow is located near to a rose garden and it is a quiet area for reflection. The crematorium is wheelchair friendly and there is adequate parking to accommodate all visitors. There are two waiting rooms and when you book the service there is an organist available or CD player if you wish to provide your own music. Following on from the service, there are a range of memorial options including benches, a book of remembrance, plaques, kerbs and mini graves for cremated remains. The book of remembrance room is closed on a weekend. The crematorium has recently introduced an electronic book of remembrance allowing you to view all entries in the book. From January to April and October to December, the crematorium is open between 08:30am and 4pm and between May and September it is open 08:30am to 4:30pm. On Saturday’s Sundays and Public Holidays the crematorium opens from 10am to 4pm between January and December and then 10am through to 5pm in all other months.
