Falkirk Crematorium

Owned by Falkirk council, Falkirk Crematorium is situated within the grounds of Camelon cemetery on Dorrator Road. In January 2017 a significant refurbishment project was concluded which resulted in a number of improvements to the crematorium. Improvements include; better access to the building, additional seating in the extended chapel, privacy screening, a new family room and audio visual system and more. Additional work is scheduled in July of 2017 to improve and upgrade the cremator equipment. As a result there are no cremations that can take place at the weekend or on the occasional Friday. Following on from the refurbishment work, the chapel can now accommodate larger congregations.
