Basildon & District Crematorium

Basildon and District Crematorium, also known as the Bowers Gifford Crematorium, this crematorium is within 18 acres of countryside and offers up some rather impressive views of the River Thames and the Kent landscape. Not far from the Bowers Gifford area, here you will be able to say goodbye to your loved ones surrounded by trees, lawns and also an ornamental pond. The chapel is completely modern and comes with air conditioning to ensure that all mourners are comfortable in the light and spacious setting. Each service is held for 40 minutes and is private and dignified for you to say goodbye. There is also enough to time walk through the floral tribute area so that you can take in all the beautiful floral tributes. The chapel is able to hold a service of any faith or beliefs and religious items can be removed on request. It is fitted with a tribute screen which can be used to display a number of pictures of the person during the service, there is also the option to record the service and broadcast this via webcast or DVD or CD of the service.
