Selsdon & District Funeral Service are a completely independent company of funeral directors, providing 24-hour care and personal attention to families and the local community of Selsdon and the surrounding areas. Gary Morriss, our manager, has worked for over 40 years in the funeral industry and comes from a long family line of funeral directors which is now into its third generation within the profession. Fellow funeral director Michael Wort has 20 years of experience in the undertaking profession too and, like Gary, holds the Diploma in Funeral Directing and has the Licence to Practice issued by the British Institute of Funeral Directors (BIFD) making us the only funeral directors in Selsdon to have this licence. Selsdon & District Funeral Service are also proud members of The National Society of Allied Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) and our main aim is to ensure that the funeral you arrange with us is carried out to your exact requirements and specifications. We’ll talk you through the various options available to you for the ceremony and will assist with all requests leading up to and during the service itself. We work closely with you to ensure that the ceremony proceeds with respect and dignity.
