G E O’Driscoll and Daughters Funeral Directors of Llanelli are a small and independently run family business, meaning we can offer completely bespoke and tailor-made funeral services to the families that we serve as we have been doing since 2013. However, Gemma O’Driscoll, our director, has over 15 years’ worth of experience in the funeral profession. Gemma is also a former president of SAIF, the Independent Funeral Directors Trade Association, a current executive member and also a tutor for the funeral directors college IFDC.. Our motto ‘Because family is everything’ affects all that we do and ensures that while your loved one is in our care, they will be treated with the respect and care that we would care for our own family. At G E O’Driscoll and Daughters Funeral Directors we strive to deliver a truly personal level of support and guidance through this difficult time for you and your family. We don’t impose pressure at any point, instead we do all that we can to help you create a funeral that reflects and honours the personality of the deceased and that gives you, your family and those close to you an opportunity to say farewell in your own way. G E O’Driscoll offer a wide range of funeral services to the bereaved and it is our aim to be as flexible as possible while making everything as simple as we can for you. We can make the funeral arrangements with you at our office in Llanelli over a cup of tea, or we can come to your home at a time to suit you. We can offer you the simplest of funerals to the most intricate; no matter how you wish to personalise events we will do all we can to accommodate your wishes. From horse-drawn hearses through to bamboo coffins, the list is endless. Gemma was recently quoted as saying 'I can do bells and whistles with the best of them; I was raised on it, but where I excel is in the personal service and the little details that other funeral directors may not consider, and these things usually cost nothing' Our service does not end with the funeral. Each of the families we help have access to professional bereavement support, advice, and up to 6 counselling sessions through SAIFCare, paid for by us, and free of charge to our families. We have a particular interest in helping younger members of the family through their bereavement and can offer lots of help, advice and suggestions for ways in which they can participate in saying goodbye in a way that is meaningful for them and appropriate to you.
