We are different to other Funeral Directors because we have our own private, natural burial ground at Adlington, near Macclesfield and include a free scattering of ashes there with each of our fixed price cremation funeral packages. Because we are different, I am taking this opportunity to explain a little bit more below about who we are and what we do. Funeral Director We are a local, family focussed Funeral Director with a reputation for doing things your way. We can organise the funeral of a loved one that has recently passed away, or help you pre-plan a funeral. This can be a cremation at the local crematorium, a burial at our own private natural burial ground in Adlington, or somewhere else where you may already have a plot reserved. We can also organise a reception/wake or celebration of life at a venue of your choice. Adlington Memorial Park - Private Natural Burial Ground We own our own private burial ground on 26 acres of land forming part of the Adlington Hall Estate which has been in the hands of the Legh family for over 700 years. It has its own beautiful meadows, woodland and rose garden with a central visual focal point where seated services can be held with or without a Minister or Celebrant. It has a spacious car park and is conveniently located just off the A523 between Macclesfield and Stockport opposite the Legh Arms pub, and only a 3 minute walk from Adlington train station which has an hourly service between Macclesfield and Manchester. Here, you can have:- • the ashes of a loved one scattered or interred with or without a service • a loved one buried with or without a service Our ash interment and burial prices include an inscribed/engraved memorial stone. There are no annual maintenance fees. If you're using your own funeral director instead of us, your loved one can still be buried at our beautiful resting place or have their ashes scattered or interred there. We always give our fellow Funeral Directors a warm welcome and work closely with them to ensure you receive the best service. Planning for the Future - Pick your own spot! Pre-purchase a burial or ashes plot at our private natural burial ground and/or - Take out a funeral plan to cover the cost of us conducting your funeral when you die. This can involve as much or as little as you wish.
