Paula Marie O'Connor

In loving memory of Paula Marie O’Connor who sadly passed away on 4th March 2022 aged 56. Paula was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was also a much-loved daughter, sister and aunt. Paula was a kind, loving and compassionate woman known locally in Acocks Green and the wider South Birmingham area for her extraordinary and self-less work rescuing ill treated animals. Paula was a member of the RSPCA support team and dedicated her life to caring for sick animals. She was also a mother to 6 children and before becoming ill she volunteered for Sue Ryder and also worked for years as a home help nurse, caring for elderly residents. Although we appreciate that things are hard for many families and individuals right now we would like to invite anybody who has the means to contribute to make a donation to Paula’s funeral costs, however big or small. Any donations will also go to help ensuring the animals Paula saved are kept safe, healthy and cared for.
