Margaret Mary Myler

Margaret Mary Myler

28th Jul 1950 - 25th Jul 2020
69 years
In loving memory of Margaret Mary Myler, who sadly passed away on 25th July 2020 at St Luke's Care Home, Runcorn following a long battle with Alzheimers disease, 3 days short of her 70th birthday. Margaret was a remarkable woman, who lived a life filled with love, fun, humour and compassion. She was a much loved daughter, sister, wife, mum, nanny, aunty, cousin and friend, she touched the lives of so many people. Margaret was a beautiful lady inside and out full of compassion, she helped so many people in many different ways over the years. Particularly during her time as an USDAW union rep whilst working as a manager at G.U.S/Argos. Margaret will live in the hearts of many people, her many friends, past colleagues and most of all her family, especially her husband John, her children Paul and Karen and her precious grandchildren Henry and Michael. She will be dearly missed by so many. Forever in our hearts, rest in peace now. Margaret Myler 1950 - 2020

So saddened to hear the passing of such a lovely lady. Margaret was my girl guide leader back in the 80’s and our paths crossed paths many years later when she was my manager at the GUS. Condolences to her family and friends. May she rest in peace x

I'm so sorry, Uncle John, Paul and Karen. Margaret was a wonderful person and always a pleasure to be around. I still remember meeting her in Widnes when I was 7 years old, and she and Uncle John came by to say hello as they were heading out for a date; she was the picture of a cool 1960's teenager, something that I longed to be. All my love, xxoo Susan

I met Margaret when joined GUS in 1991 and became Union Rep - she was an amazing phenomenal woman who I instantly warmed to and became friends with. She taught me so much, she was a total force of nature yet with compassion and kindness, she adored her family and was super proud of them. We spent many weekends away with the Union (mainly in Blackpool) and along with our Union weekends, we also went on holiday together a few times and all I can remember are the laughs we had and there were many! Margaret was a lover of life, she was so funny and fearless and would light up a room and be the life and soul of a party. Margaret will remain in my heart and my memories forever xx Goodnight and God bless Marg xxx Love to all the family xxx
