Lisa was a loving, caring, generous person who could never think badly of anyone and was great with kids especially her niece Marley and nephew Xanda. She was really active and independent but she fell on hard times after the loss of her dad which she took really hard. She had so many different interests. She loved her music, she was very eclectic. She adored the 80s, reggae and rock. She loved Seven Nation Army and Year 3000. She never watched telly it was just music, music, music. She loved the group Blue, we’d just bought tickets to go and see them in December for her birthday. She also loved playing Guitar Hero - she’d stand there singing with her Dad on guitar and brother on drums it was a whole family experience! We used to call her the crazy cat lady – she loved cats and we thought she would grow old surrounded by about 500 cats. She was a real tom boy, she didn’t like girlie things. She was into old vintage cars, racing cars and stock car racing. She had some wicked baseball caps – indoors, outdoors, hot sunshine not a chance were they coming off! She was quite a quiet person but she took so much pleasure in life. She came to the Bingo at the On Top drop in and won it the first time she came, and she was made up. She loved chatting to everyone in the Hopton Court gardens and at the drop in. She loved her tattoos as well and she was a mad Man City Fan. Lisa was a qualified chef and she knew Stockport like the back of her hand from all the work she did across the area. She left school and went to college to train as a chef and despite having a learning disability she achieved a Level 2 in Catering and Patisserie.. She did voluntary work at a local church in their kitchens and worked for Gorton Parks as a kitchen assistant. Lisa took the death of her dad really hard. He died within three days of getting sepsis in 2016 and it was a terrible shock to the whole family, but Lisa took it particularly hard. She had post traumatic stress and depression and was in hospital from 2016 to 2021. She will be greatly missed by the family she brought us so much joy. Even in the hard times she kept us all going.
