My dad died in July 2017 with throat cancer, while he was ill my older brother developed terminal bowel cancer at the age of 43, . Both my dad and brother were suffering cancer together, my dad was so poorly we decided not to tell him about his son Lee, as it was so sad, my dad picked up on this and knew something was not right, Lee was looking unwell and losing weight and tried to put on a brave face when visiting our dad , my dad questioned me about it and I broke down. It was a terrible time for me and my family, my brother never knew that his dad had this knowledge, I watched my dad suffering with his throat cancer and gave up my job to look after him, and at the same time my brother was dying, with bowel cancer. Eventually at the very back end my dad had to go into hospice he was so poorly. I would drive my brother to see him who would say to me please don't put me in here! My father passed away at the end of July 2017 and the next day my brother was rushed into hospital very ill. It was such a difficult time , my brother was in hospital for a month touch and go He managed to make it to our dads funeral. My brother passed away 6 months later and was burried with our father. He left behind his wife and 3 daughters x I had so much strength to get through that situation but now 2 years later I am consumed with grief it's really hard to get byxx
