This is a message frowritten to me by mum's friend Susan Janssen: Judy made this shirt ca. 1972 for Bill, or Billy as she often called him. He had sent her the moonlanding-inspired material, bought during carnival time in Germany. So I knew about her magic creative hands before ever meeting her (and Ray) in Amsterdam in the mid 1970s. I'll always remember Judy's wonderful smile
Judy will remain for us a caring, humanistic and humorous person, with an immense love for nature and animals. She was curious about everything and during her artistic courses, she was always looking for new ideas to help us progress. We are proud to have known her and to have been part of her friends. xx Anne & Philippe C. This photo was taken at Xmas 2013, celebrating Judy's birthday.
With thanks to Pat Spranger for this lovely photo. She says: It was taken at my house on the day of my wedding to Gerry, May 22, 2004. Judy was helping me arrange the flowers for the chapel.
Thank you to Tim and Sarah Craig who say: this is Tim's favorite hen, Shamrock. Shamrock used to come into the house and lay an egg on his couch every day. This grand painting does her justice.
In Memory of Judy Gordon To Ann, Alex and family, We wished to say how much we enjoyed Judy's artwork and photography. I was especially moved when she wanted to paint a portrait of our first granddaughter, attached here. We enjoyed her exhibitions, in particular at Osterley Park and Holland Park, and the various art trips into London, and the times spent in her garden in summer months. Judy will be much missed as a friend and neighbour. We raise a glass of red wine to her. With love from Iza & Red xx Charlie, Josephine and Juliette, and Amelie, now aged 12 xxxx n.b. The people attending today are Izabella, Redmond and Charlie. In consideration of space in the hall, Charles and Redmond are willing to wait outside.
