GRAINGER, JOE (BIRTLEY) Passed away peacefully in Hospital on 3rd July 2019 aged 85 years. Joe, beloved husband of Anne, much loved Dad to Michael and Chris, A treasured Granda to Lewis & Luke and dearly loved by all who knew him. Please meet for Requiem Mass at St Joseph's R.C Church, Birtley on Thursday 11th July 2019 at 10am, followed by Cremation at Birtley Crematorium. Joe contracted asbestosis over 50 years ago working as a welding engineer at Caterpillar. The North Tyneside Mesothelioma Support Group (NTMSG) supports people with the industrial disease and their loved ones from diagnosis to bereavement and beyond. Joe's family believe he would prefer donations to this charity rather than flowers.
