In loving memory of James Wilkinson, husband, Father and Grandfather. Born in Newcastle, Northumbria and joined the British police force at age 16. Later volunteered for Kenya colonial police from 1954 to 1964. Rose through the ranks to chief superintendent of police at the age of thirty. Returned to United Kingdom 1964. Retired in Daventry, after a second successful career with Cadbury Schweppes. Survived by wife Joyce, of 65 years, three daughters Susan, Gillian & Louise. Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Three brothers David, Russell & Stephen. Passed away from complications of Parkinson’s at Northampton General on July 30th, 2019. Services August 13th at 3:00pm at Avon Chapel, Rainsbrook, Rugby.
