James McCance

22nd Feb 1941 - 28th Jul 2019
78 years
In loving memory of James McCance who sadly passed away aged 78 on 28 July 2019 at 2.45 am. He was the rock of our family, so strong. He fighted so hard to stay with us all, right to the end. We are all heartbroken, but i know he was so happy to have his huge family surrounding him at the end. The hospice said they have never seen so many people around one person in there. He has left behind his beautiful wife Jennifer, 6 kids me Jane, Jenny, Johnny, Jimmy, Andy and Bill, his son-in-law Steve, his 22 grandkids Frankie, Vinnie, Millie, Tilly, Yasmin, Chris, Billy, Savannah, Ella, Kash, Jimmy, Albert, Sydney, Lillie, Sasha, Sonny, Taylor, Isabella, Samantha, Billy, Bonnie and Maisie, also his 11 great grandkids Logan, Brody, Skyla-Rose, Leo (aka grandad breakfast), Bella, Riley, Mia, Jimmy, Billie, Gracie and Joey. Also Dean, Ali, the two Tracy's, Dionne, Becky and Amber. He is also leaving behind his favourite brother Andy and his little sister Nancy, who are both heartbroken. Donations to the charity will be going to Rowans Hospice. xxx

You were a true family man that was loved by many, if anyone needed help you would always be there no matter what. You got me through some of the toughest times and have taught me so much, you were a father figure to me and my best friend, there was no-one I trusted more and I could talk to you about anything. Even in the end, holding your hand thinking I was being strong for you, I knew deep down that it was the other way around. i miss you more than I can describe and I wish I could have done more, but you’re no longer struggling, sleep tight and rest in peace Grandad. x
